The Castle of Paphos is threatened by climate change
The Environmental Movement and the Cyprus Young Greens organised on the 7 of August 7 a campaign to raise the awareness about climate change and the increase in average temperature. The campaign was held at the Castle of Paphos, where members of the Cyprus Young Greens and the Ecological Movement of Cyprus hung a banner with a large slogan: "Wake up! TIME FOR ACTION.
During the event bystanders, tourists and locals were informed on how the sea level will be raised by 2100 and distributed a brochure displaying the castle now and 90 years later.
